# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Stepdown – North Carolina Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36- or 48-hour work weeks available. Patient ratio 1:4. Weekend requirement: minimum of 3 weekend shifts every six weeks. No call required.

Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; neuro stepdown experience strongly preferred
Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be accepted)
Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; CCRN, TNCC, and CPI preferred
Epic charting system experience required
Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
Extensive clinical skills required including:
Neuro stepdown, PCU/Stepdown, and telemetry experience
Ability to titrate vasoactive drips including Levophed
Cardiac monitoring: dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Neurological skills: CVA, traumatic brain injury, craniotomy, aneurysm repair, post-TPA care, lumbar drains, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, intracranial bleeds
IV therapy: central line, PICC line, and peripheral line management; blood product administration
Medication management: heparin protocols, insulin drip titration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, PCA, thrombolytic agents
Respiratory care: ventilated patient care, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, ABG interpretation
Advanced procedures: continuous bladder irrigation, pre/post hemodialysis management, feeding tube management, TR Band, surgical drains

Willingness to float to other intermediate and critical care areas as needed
Strict adherence to attendance and call-off policies
