Job Overview Our organization is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to join the Oncology Float Pool at our New Brunswick campus. This facility serves as the primary teaching hospital within our health system and is recognized as one of only three Level 1 trauma centers in the state. Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
Proficient in computer applications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or completion within five years of hire
~2-3 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Oncology

Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey
Night shift, 36 hours per week, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
Monday to Friday, with some weekends and holiday rotations
The Registered Nurse delivers care within the healthcare system, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards while upholding ethical practice as outlined by the ANA code of ethics.
Ensures safety in practice, integrating evidence-based principles and taking responsibility for enhancing personal and team knowledge through effective communication and resource utilization.
Responsible for reporting safety concerns, including hazardous conditions and medical errors.
Maintains knowledge of the patient demographics served.
Supervises and directs task delegation among team members, collaborating with other healthcare providers.
Acts as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to tailor care plans to meet specific patient needs.
