This position will follow through with all preventive maintenance on automation and equipment, as well as troubleshoot and solve most automation or equipment problems that may affect safety, quality or production. He/she will work with outside contractors, vendors for maintaining equipment and needed inventories, and will continuously work to improve themselves, who will be working toward a two year degree in industrial maintenance. This position will communicate with the Maintenance Manager and responsible personnel on any and all activities that affect Safety, Quality or Production.Essential Job FunctionsSupports facility maintenance to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assetsTroubleshoots and repairs operating equipmentSupports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellenceSupports and executes capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilitiesAssures compliance with Company's EAM platformSupports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changesDevelops and execute site's preventative maintenance programManages maintenance parts inventory including procurementAssures all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirementsInteracts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issuesProvides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and/or hourly team, working closely with direct reportsMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publicationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTechnical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blue printsKnowledge of lockout tag out, all safety related issues while working on or around plant/production equipmentKnowledge of communicative properties in all areas of plant operationsKnowledge of formula's, theories and measurementsKnowledge of ANSI and QS9000 regulationsAble to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipmentComputer literateSkills in work prioritiesSome understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operationsMust possess the ability to read, write, and speak EnglishPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office settingFrequent walking and standing requiredOccasional travel requiredOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.The expected salary range for this position is $62,000-73,000 annually.
