Lab Phlebotomist-Part Time

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist/Processor with excellent people skills to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to manage a single-person site where you will be responsible for drawing and processing specimens while providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. 18.98 - 25.69 Per Hour DOE. Competitive Retention Bonus paid out every year for 3 years.

Free clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in house

Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.

Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening.

Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.

Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.

Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.

Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 1 year of hands‑on phlebotomy experience is required; Must have experience working with patients across all age groups — including infants, children, adults, and older adults.

Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.

Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.

This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties.
