Are you prepared to negotiate the best deals, ensure top-notch quality, and drive cost-saving initiatives in a dynamic and impactful environment? As the selected candidate, you will, in part, be responsible for researching purchasing requirements for Task Order/ customer requirements. You will also prepare portfolio reports and propose cost saving initiatives within product range, as well as forecast levels of demand for products and consistently check on product stock levels.Serves as the liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, purchasing managers, and other internal stakeholders.• Conducts research to determine the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality.• Understanding of procurement process.• Prepares market analysis of competitor products, pricing, promotions, packaging, trends, loyalty programs, and marketing initiatives.• Negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service. Responsible for purchasing a variety of complex or technical supplies or services.• Prepares special reports and financial studies for management and alerts them to significant variances to plan.• Develops purchasing packages with appropriate requests for proposal or quotes.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with six years of related purchasing experience• Associate's degree in business with minimum of 24 credit hours in Business Related Classes plus eight years related purchasing experience• Thorough knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other applicable government regulations. • Ability to read and write in fluent English.• US Citizen with an active TS/SCI is required-What You Can Expect: As a valued team member, you’ll be part of a high-performing group dedicated to our customer’s missions and driven by a higher purpose - to ensure the safety of our nation.CACI values the unique contributions that every employee brings to our company and our customers - every day.
