Beztak is looking to hire a Cook to join our team. The Cook performs all necessary duties to uphold the community's standards of quality and excellence in food, service, and hospitality. The position is responsible for preparing well-presented meals in a timely fashion according to the scheduled menu and/or resident requests.

Completes prep work as required for future meals

Assists in the completion of the order sheets to maintain the appropriate level of supplies and inventory

Assists in the storage of stock items that have been delivered

Sweeps and mops kitchen area as assigned

Adheres to all food handling regulations

Knows and uses provided Universal Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment, according to requirements established by OSHA

Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Workings in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills

PERSONAL QUALITIES: Flexible, innovative and demonstrates the ability to make sound decisions

Able to handle problems as they arise in relation to the operation of the community

Collect data and establish facts to draw valid conclusion when problems arrive. While certain positions require past work experience in a specific role, you don't have to have any experience in property management to join the Beztak team.
