Histotechnician - Histology - Full Time

At Sonic Healthcare USA, we emphasize teamwork and innovation. Days: Monday - Friday
Full-time: Responsible for dissecting, analyzing, and generating gross descriptions for low-mid complexity specimens received in the laboratory for microscopic diagnosis.

Maintain general appearance of the laboratory.
Comply with all OSHA laboratory safety standards and regulations.
Routine handling of biohazardous and/or chemical hazardous material.
Participate in applicable safety training sessions. Know the location and contents of the safety policies and procedures and safety equipment.
Maintain compliance with company and department policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers and clients to provide quality customer service.
At times, overtime, on call or altered scheduling may be required.
Minimum training/education required is an Associate degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology
