Senior Recruiting & HR Generalist
Shea Properties
The Senior HR Coordinator provides day-to-day operational support across benefits administration and general HR functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding benefits, HR processes, and policy guidance, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a people-first experience aligned with Shea values. Administrative support with employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and leave programs.
Coordinate new hire benefit enrollments, life event changes, and annual open enrollment activities.
Support HR activities including onboarding, offboarding, employee data maintenance, and HR audits.
Assist with HR projects including bonus and merit planning.
Support compliance efforts including I-9s, EEO reporting, audits, and policy adherence.
Prepare HR reports related to benefits, headcount, and compensation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2-4 years of experience in benefits administration or HR coordination
Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
Effective communication and customer service skills
