Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO, responsible for overseeing construction and handyman projects from initiation through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning project scope and timelines, coordinating materials and labor, and managing logistics to ensure work progresses efficiently. The role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring quality and safety standards, and resolving issues that impact schedule or budget. The Project Manager will communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members, provide status updates, and ensure that all work aligns with project specifications and company standards. This position requires a strong focus on organization, follow-through, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction or maintenance projects.

Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting skills to facilitate timely acquisition of permits, materials, and contractor support.

Candidates should possess inspection skills to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications on site.

Candidates should possess logistics management skills to organize resources, manage deliveries, and support efficient workflow.

Experience in construction, or related trades, with knowledge of building methods, materials, and safety practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and team members.

Proficiency in basic project documentation and use of project management or scheduling software.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in construction management is a plus.
