Head of Management Finance

Negotiates transaction deal documents and facilitates deal closings in a timely manner for smaller and mid-tier Global Capital Markets (GCM) clients.
Negotiate and close transactions in which Wilmington Trust serves in a Trustee capacity as well as other complementary roles and products. Serve as client-facing centralized deal manager for transactions for internal operational and support groups. Assist Sales with business development initiatives and coordinate deal structures depending on asset type. Serve as internal liaison for all support groups surrounding deal closings. May elevate client issues to Transaction Leaders based on client size and possible risk. Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk‑related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. This position works on a team of individual contributors under management supervision.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ related experience
