RN/LPN, Ambulatory Care (Full Time)

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is currently seeking a full time Clinic LPN for the Franciscan Women's Health Associates Clinic in Tacoma, WA. Come work in our energetic and dynamic Women's Health Department. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

chaperones and documents the patient exam, ensuring patient privacy and comfort.
Performs, or assists with, patient care, diagnostic tests and clinical procedures to appropriate level of training/scope of license and established procedures; follows triage standing orders/protocols for routine nursing situations and refers complex, urgent or emergent situations to an RN or provider.
Assists with point of care testing (CLIA-Waived Tests only)/lab tests following established protocols/instructions.
tracks and logs medication usage per established policies; inventories counts of controlled substances.
Documents procedures and interactions in patient’s medical record in accordance with established procedures; Organizes exam rooms, including general cleaning, upkeep and re-stocking of supplies; prepares, cleans and sterilize instruments and maintains related equipment.
No nights, weekends and free parking in our Tacoma location. Some travel to another clinic may be needed.
Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing., Licensed Practical Nurse: WA, upon hire and
1-3 years One year of LPN work experience in a clinic setting, upon hire or
1-3 years two years of acute care LPN work experience, upon hire
