Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care ICU

Role:
Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse (CVICU RN) providing specialized patient care in high-acuity settings.

Responsibilities

Assess, monitor, and respond to critically ill patients' conditions

Administer complex medications and advanced treatments

Operate and manage life-support and hemodynamic monitoring equipment

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support

Document patient data, interventions, and responses accurately

Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and adhere to infection control standards

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform assigned duties within scope

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum one year of recent CVICU RN experience

Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications

Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients

Proficiency in clinical documentation and technical skills

Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail
