Create individualized treatment plans tailored to direct short-term goals and reinforce long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on communication, language enhancement, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
Coordinate efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies.
Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, thereby ensuring seamless care throughout the healing process.
Keep abreast of developments in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Proficient in evidence-based treatment approaches catering to all ages, with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
