We are looking for a Finance Director - Global Operations to join our Connected Living Solutions (CLS) Business Unit and partner closely with our Global Operations VP and senior leadership team.This is a strategic, high-impact role at the heart of our global manufacturing network. You will shape operational performance, strengthen financial insight, and enable data-driven decisions that support growth and transformation.What you'll be doingAs a trusted business partner to our Operations leadership, you will:Drive performance and insightAnalyse and consolidate global operational financial results, delivering clear insights and actionable recommendations.Partner for productivityWork closely with operations teams to improve efficiency, optimise cost structures, and mitigate inventory risk.Enable strategic transformationSupport footprint migration, consolidation, and expansion initiatives across our global manufacturing and supply chain network.Lead planning cyclesOwn the strategic plan, annual budget process, and re-costing cycles, aligning financial plans to long-term business goals.Champion compliance and governanceEnsure adherence to global financial standards (including US GAAP and SOX), while maintaining strong controls across regions.Advance digital financeDrive improvements in finance systems and processes, helping modernise our global operations organisation.Develop and inspireLead, coach, and grow a diverse global team of 20+ finance professionals, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.What your background should look likeExperienceExtensive experience in multinational organisations, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environmentsSeveral years of experience in operational or manufacturing finance, including leadership responsibilityExperience partnering with senior operations leaders across regions and culturesTechnical & Professional KnowledgeStrong expertise in cost accounting, cost analysis, and financial reportingDeep understanding of operational and financial drivers within manufacturing and supply chain environmentsSolid knowledge of US GAAP; SAP experience preferredWhy You Should Join TEAt TE Connectivity, we believe diverse perspectives drive better outcomes.
