Mortgage Loan Processor - Banking
Liberty Federal Credit Union
Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for accurately managing residential loan documentation through our established systems and reviewing it to ensure that it is completed in full and complies with current banking regulations and policies. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. Process mortgage loan files:
Review all supporting documents in mortgage file to ensure required documents meet underwriting standards including income (including tax returns when needed), assets, liabilities and title.
Assemble loan files in the mortgage loan origination system in order for submission to underwriting.
Request supporting documentation from third parties including the ordering of tax transcripts as required for loan files.
Maintain a working knowledge of all credit union mortgage products.
Develop a working knowledge of the credit union’s data processing system, loan origination system, Word, and EXCEL software.
