As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical partner to our sales team and prospective customers, helping translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value. You'll play a critical role in driving deal success by leading technical discovery, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and guiding solution design throughout the sales cycle. This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineeringrequiring strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
Own the Technical Side of the Sales Process
Partner closely with Account Executives to support opportunities from early discovery through close
Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer goals, constraints, and success criteria
Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases and business outcomes
Recommend and design solutions that meet customer requirements while aligning with product capabilities
Be a Force Multiplier for Sales
Enable sales teams with product knowledge, use cases, and competitive positioning
Share field feedback with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and improvements
You're viewed as a trusted advisor by customers and sales partners
You help unblock complex technical evaluations and shorten sales cycles
You consistently elevate the quality of demos, solution design, and technical credibility
You balance customer needs with scalable, repeatable solution
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
At least 5 years in a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role
Experience supporting SaaS, enterprise software, or complex technical products
Strong understanding of modern software platforms (cloud, APIs, integrations, security, or datadepending on product)
Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value
Solid grasp of the sales process and how technical decisions influence buying outcomes
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or enterprise systems
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
