Job Description
Title: Travel RN - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) / Mother-Baby (Couplet Care)
Schedule:

Shift: Nights, 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details:

Length: 13 weeks
Ratios: 1:4 (couplet care)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
Previous travel experience required
Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP
Preferred: Epic charting experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide care for laboring patients and support mothers during delivery and postpartum recovery.
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vitals, using external and internal fetal monitoring as needed.
Perform sterile vaginal and speculum exams to assess labor progress.
Offer breastfeeding support and newborn assessments.
Manage postpartum hemorrhage and respond to standard obstetric emergencies.

Compliance / Notes:

COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
Influenza vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Pre-employment testing: Lab/testing required within 48 hours after signing
