Front Desk Receptionist Monday through Friday [Part-time]

Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish in Miami, Florida has an opening for an afternoon Part-time Receptionist for the Parish Office. This person will work at the reception desk and provide support for the parish as needed. Schedule: 1:00 – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Provides exemplary customer service to visitors, parishioners, employees, and others who contact the parish by phone, in person, and by e-mail.
Provides callers with answers to basic questions on Mass schedule, parish activities, and the reception of sacraments; Performs clerical duties such as accepting and distributing mail and packages; Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and one-year administrative experience in a customer-service environment with phone system.
Friendly, with excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.
Knowledgeable about and supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
Strong oral and written English and Spanish language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
