CNC Machinist - 1st, 2nd and Weekend Shift

Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will manufacture detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, or verbal instructions using various computer- or mechanically controlled machine tools and equipment. You will be responsible for setting up and operating mills, lathes, CNC machine tools, grinders, and other machine equipment. Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and specifications.

Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.

Document manufactured quantities and all required processes utilizing the ERP system.

Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.

Assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.

5+ years of Machinist experience

• High school degree or equivalent, plus advanced training
• Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Machine set up

Machine operating and operation

Programming, CNC lathe, CNC Mill

CNC Program edits

CMM operation, Vertical mill, Horizontal mill

Work Environment Work in a very large and clean machine shop environment. Day shift is from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Swing shift runs from 4:30 pm to 2:45 am Monday through Thursday with an 8% differential. Weekend shift is from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm Friday through Sunday with a 12% differential.
