Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our job shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and a passion for precision engineering. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machines to fabricate and assemble components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. We are also looking for CNC programmer, we use MasterCam.
Duties
- Operate manual and CNC machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce parts and components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Program CNC machines using CAM programming software for efficient production runs.
- Assemble fabricated components into finished products while adhering to quality control standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and improve production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machinist with a strong understanding of machining techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in CNC operation and programming, with experience in CAM programming preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and fabrication processes is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A background in machining or related fields is highly desirable.
