About the role Birdeye is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help build the engineering organization behind our next phase of growth.

This is a high-impact recruiting role for someone who knows how to identify, engage, assess, and close exceptional technical talent in a highly competitive market. You will partner closely with Engineering leadership and senior stakeholders to build teams across Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data, Infrastructure, and other technical functions.

You will operate as both a recruiter and talent advisor, developing sourcing strategies, shaping hiring processes, using data to improve recruiting outcomes, and helping define what exceptional technical talent looks like at Birdeye.

This is a hybrid role based in Palo Alto, CA, with an expectation to work from the office Tuesday through Thursday.

What You’ll Do Partner directly with Engineering leadership to develop and execute hiring plans across Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data, Infrastructure, and other technical functions.

Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and initial engagement through interview management, offer negotiation, and close.

Develop creative and highly targeted sourcing strategies to identify exceptional technical talent in competitive markets.

Build and maintain strong pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and future organizational growth.

Develop trusted relationships with hiring managers and serve as a talent advisor throughout the hiring process.

Partner with interview teams to continuously improve technical recruiting processes, calibration, candidate assessment, and candidate experience.

Use recruiting data and market intelligence to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion, and inform hiring decisions.

Partner closely with the broader Talent team to share best practices, improve recruiting operations, and raise the overall quality of hiring.

Operate with urgency and high ownership while maintaining a consistently high bar for candidate quality.

Who You Are 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting technical talent.

Proven success hiring Software Engineers and other highly technical roles in competitive talent markets.

Strong sourcing skills and the ability to consistently build pipelines without relying exclusively on inbound candidates.

Strong partnership skills with the ability to build credibility and influence with Engineering leaders and senior stakeholders.

Highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage multiple searches while maintaining a high bar for quality.

A builder mindset and a desire to continuously improve how recruiting is done.

Willingness to work from our Palo Alto, CA office Tuesday through Thursday.

Even better if you have Experience recruiting AI/ML, infrastructure, data, or other specialized technical talent.

Experience recruiting within the Bay Area technology ecosystem.

An established network of technical talent across engineering and AI.

Experience recruiting at a high-growth technology company.

Experience partnering directly with VP, CTO, Founder, or other executive-level leaders.

Experience building or scaling recruiting processes and teams.

Experience using data and technology to improve recruiting effectiveness.
