Software Engineering Frontend

We're looking for a Software Engineer - Portal (Front End) to join our Payrix software engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you'll own as the Software Engineer - Portal (Front End)

Contributing to building a scalable platform, employing engineering best practices, on top of AWS
Collaborating to help refine our business requirements and evolve our payments platform
Fully owning the services that you and your team are building
Mentoring less experienced team members, helping them to become successful within the team and the project
Working with technical and non-technical people outside the team as it relates to team-owned projects/features
NODE-JS, TypeScript, Angular, Playwright, MariaDB, AWS EC2, S3, API Gateway and related services, GIT, GITHUB, CI, JIRA, Confluence, Qualys, Jenkins
5+ years' experience with software development, including expert knowledge of best practices, including code architectural patterns and code design principles and patterns with demonstrated ability to properly apply them as needed

• Solid understanding of large-scale software systems
• 3+ years of experience in development Angular based front-end development
• 2+ years of experience with ExpressJS backend Development
• Good experience with relational database systems (Postgres, MariaDB)
• Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle stages and best practices around each stage
• Experience with basic cloud services for building and running cloud-native applications

The portal engineering team is responsible for delivering and supporting the portal web application that helps our partners manage their merchant boarding process, users, transactions, funding, disbursements, chargebacks, risk controls, access controls. It provides a wide variety of reporting and analysis capabilities, dashboards etc. For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $91,900.00-$138,700.00. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate's experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
