Benefit from a hybrid work model and professional development opportunities.Job DescriptionOverviewJoin a prestigious financial services firm as a Family Office Tax Accountant, focusing on strategic tax planning and compliance for diverse financial structures.Contribute to impactful decision-making by leveraging your expertise in tax law and financial management.Engage in a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with collaborative in-office opportunities.Work within a supportive environment that prioritizes professional growth and intellectual development.Enhance your skills in managing complex tax compliance for trusts, partnerships, and other entities.Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver tailored tax solutions and estate planning strategies.Contribute to a firm renowned for innovation and excellence in financial management.Benefit from exposure to sophisticated investment environments and specialized financial operations.Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare and file accurate tax returns across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, ensuring compliance.Manage tax compliance for trusts, LLCs, partnerships, and tax-exempt entities, addressing complex structures.Provide strategic tax and estate planning advice to partners and stakeholders.Assist in producing detailed financial statements and cash flow schedules for planning purposes.Conduct tax planning and research at the management company level, addressing audits and credit analyses.Ensure compliance with Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) filings for applicable jurisdictions.Stay informed on evolving tax regulations in the US and abroad, providing timely insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations and reporting processes.Job RequirementsBachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of tax accounting experience; 10 years preferred.CPA or EA certification is highly desirable.Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.Analytical mindset with expertise in addressing complex financial challenges.Ability to adapt to evolving tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.Experience in hedge fund or family office operations is a plus.
