Role Description This full-time Phlebotomist role is an on-site position located in Mesquite, TX. The Phlebotomist will perform venipuncture and other blood collection procedures, including preparing patients, verifying identification, and ensuring specimens are correctly labeled and handled. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe work area, following infection control and safety protocols, and preparing samples for processing in accordance with laboratory standards. The role involves working closely with medical assistants and clinicians, and communicating respectfully and clearly with patients about procedures. The Phlebotomist is expected to support efficient clinic operations by managing supplies, prioritizing tasks, and assisting with related clinical duties as needed.

Candidates will possess strong Blood Collection skills, including venipuncture and specimen handling.

Candidates should possess knowledge of medical terminology and concepts relevant to endocrinology and general clinical practice.

Relevant additional qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited phlebotomy or medical assisting program; current phlebotomy certification (preferred);
