Intake Fax RN- Evening

Austin Oaks Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to stabilize symptoms of depression, anxiety and other behavioral health disorders.

Position Summary: The Intake Fax RN- Evening (Monday- Friday 3p-11p) is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility's database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff. Follow hospital's policies and procedures regarding referral management.

Qualifications Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Licensure / Certification: Current Texas Board of Nursing Licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.

Experience: One-year psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
