Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week with weekend rotations.
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to individuals in the MS/Telemetry department.
Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Ensure adherence to state and hospital policies and procedures.
Facilitate a quality environment for patient care based on evidence-based practices.
Manage and delegate patient care tasks to nursing staff as appropriate.
Float between various departments and facilities as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active Arizona Registered Nurse License.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical nursing setting.
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
