Drywall FinisherEstablished in 2009, CASEY Construction Group, LLC's mission is to deliver trusted quality and distinguished service in drywall, floor leveling, and polished concrete, partnering with general contractors across the DC, Raleigh, and Richmond regions to build reliably, precisely, and with integrity.Position Summary: The Drywall Finisher will seal joints, repair cracks, and smooth imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment.Responsibilities:Joining drywall panels using tape and joint compoundRepairing cracks and any other damage to drywall panelsConcealing any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surfaceLayering joint compound with trowels to create a flat surfaceSanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surfaceSkimming the surface with final layer of plaster in preparation for finishing workManaging and maintaining all the required equipment for the jobReporting any job-related issues to supervisorEnsuring all equipment and materials are used safely and effectivelyOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:It is preferred to have experience working in the trade; Must have knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall finishing.Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protection equipment (PPE), as required.Frequently on site and subject to hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on the location.
