Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.
Job Description
The MS/Tele Float RN Charge will provide patient care to a diverse population, including ER boarded patients, telemetry, and medical-surgical cases. This role involves floating to various units based on the institution's needs, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered consistently.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate patient care on assigned units.
Manage staffing needs and bed flow effectively.
Act as a Charge Nurse on small units, covering essential charge duties.
Provide direct patient care and support to nursing staff.
Float to various units according to patient acuity and institutional requirements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
RN license required (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
Charge nurse experience is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience with telemetry and management of dysrhythmias preferred.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
