Contractor Dispatcher

Our Dispatchers are the heartbeat of our daily operations—coordinating resources, communicating with purpose, and ensuring everything runs smoothly when it matters most. As a Dispatcher at Feldspar, you'll be the key connection between our drivers, customers, and internal teams. This role is essential to maintaining smooth logistics and customer satisfaction. This role reports to a Terminal Manager and interacts with Company Drivers, Independent Contractors, back-office functions and customers.
Driver Operations
Assign the proper equipment for the jurisdiction and the job requirements.
Partner with Safety as well as the shop to ensure drivers and equipment meet regulatory and corporate compliance.
Customer Relations
Responsible for communicating the load plan to drivers and customers.
Meet customer requirements and ensure any changes are communicated.
Raise opportunities to increase efficiency for both the terminal and the customer.
Fleet & Equipment
Record data in the dispatch system data in an accurate and timely fashion.
Ensure workflow is completed correctly through the use of onboard ELD and desktop applications.
High School Diploma/ GED required.
~Strong background in computer based technology and Microsoft Office programs.
