Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Lubbock, Texas, within a Level II Trauma Center featuring comprehensive stroke and trauma services. The RN will float between units, following facility standards, and work scheduled 12‑hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 08/10/2026.

Schedule: Night shifts, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
Valid Texas RN license
At least 2 years of ER nursing experience
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
Experience with charting systems (Epic preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Charge Nurse experience
Experience in community hospital, LTAC, or trauma level I or II
Float rotation may be required within multidisciplinary units
Must have at least 2 years of ER experience (hard stop)
Comfortable managing BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, central lines, and stroke protocols
Facility handles complex cases: stroke, STEMI, chest pain, trauma, NSTEMI, and other emergent diagnoses
Willing to work 3 of 5 holidays
Must provide response regarding any prior Providence facility work with location and dates
References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
