Rehab Therapy - PTA

If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Home Health setting, this California position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists in the home setting

Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' mobility and function

Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist

Educate patients and families on exercises and safety measures for home care

Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress

Collaborate with caregivers to support patients' rehabilitation goals

Adapt interventions to fit the home environment and individual patient needs

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited PTA program

Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

CA PTA licensure/certification

First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

Clean driving record

Ability to work effectively in a Home Health setting

Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

One or more years of experience in a Home Health setting

Familiarity with electronic documentation systems

Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care

Pay: $1,639.19 - $1,689.89 / week

Location: San Diego, CA

Assignment Length: 39

Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
