Draw blood specimens from patients in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner following established procedures

Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing according to protocol

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all specimen collections

Demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to process excellence and confidentiality

Perform daily tasks independently under the supervision of the area supervisor

Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Keyboard and data entry proficiency

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

High school diploma or equivalent required

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

Minimum of 6 months direct phlebotomy experience required

Over 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred

Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred

Keyboard/data entry experience required

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

Must be able to work during scheduled shifts and remain for the entire shift with punctuality
