Duties&Responsibilities:

ThispositionreportstotheDirector(InformationTechnology),andworkswithotherteammembersincludingNetwork Administrators, Service Delivery Manager, IT Technicians, as well as external vendors and/or service providers

Responsiblefordeepunderstandingofnetworksecurityprotocols,configurationsanddataflownecessarytoensure confidentiality of staff and student information to uphold FERPA, COPPA, and CIPA compliance

Manage/supportnetworksystemsincluding,butnotlimitedto:Microsoft365,Microsoftpolicies,MicrosoftIntune,network user accounts, SPAM filter, firewall, web content filter, file server user access, DHCP, DNS, routers, switches, wireless systems, Bomgar remote access, IP phone system

Manageandmaintainvirtual andphysical servers

Supportmultipledomains(Google Administration,ActiveDirectory,M365)

Monitornetworkdevicestatus

AssistotherAdminswithdailymanagementandtroubleshooting

Maintaindocumentation

Demonstratedtroubleshooting,follow-through,andcritical thinkingskills.

WorkwithNetworkteamtopromotedigitalsecurityofDCSDensuringthatcybersecurityawarenessismaintained district-wide

WorkwithNetworkteamtodevelopPhishingCampaignsincludingcadenceforphishingsimulations

Helpestablishadistrict-wideprocesstoevaluatecybersecuritytools&vendors,maintainacatalogofapprovedand preferred tools, and assist tool rationalization where feasible

EnsureNetworkInfrastructureandSecuritytoolset(hardwareandsoftware)complywithlifecyclereplacements schedules

Ensurecompliancewithlicensingagreementsbymaintaininganaccurateandup-to-datetrackingofhardwareand software inventory

Ensuresolidbackupstrategiesareinplaceincludingannual testing

Creationandmaintenanceofnetworkdiagrams

Performsotherdutiesasassigned

KnowledgeofRouter/Switch/LAN/Wireless,includingOSImodel
