Referral Coordinator - Primary Care

High-Quality Care. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT SMITH HOUSE IN WILLSBORO The Referral Coordinator is assigned the responsibility of coordinating and facilitating specialty referrals ordered by all health center providers.
Experience in a busy office setting with customer exposure (Health Care field preferred)
Comprehension of medical terminology
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically in writing and verbally.
Ability to work collaboratively in an ever-changing environment to assure delivery of quality customer service.
Projects a professional image in appearance and behavior.
Keyboarding experience and computer knowledge required. (Microsoft Word /Excel / Access Software used)
Ability to handle high volume of phone calls.
Ability to keep an electronic record of referral appointments and correspondence with patients, physicians
High school Diploma required.
