Full Time Physiatrist Needed

Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, taking into account their medical history and specific needs, to formulate tailored treatment plans.

Treatment Implementation: Design and implement evidence-based treatment programs for a variety of conditions, ensuring alignment with physician referrals and care strategies.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work synergistically with other healthcare professionals to optimize rehabilitation outcomes, participating in team meetings and discussions focused on patient progress.

Deliver clear and effective guidance to patients and their families about exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance to enhance long-term recovery efforts.

Customer Service: Outcome Tracking: Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet defined goals and clinician requests.

Community Engagement: Participate in outreach programs to educate the community and promote physical therapy practices to foster wider health awareness and improve quality of life.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals requiring orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine care. Each patient presents unique challenges and opportunities, empowering you to utilize your expertise and creativity to achieve the best rehabilitation outcomes. A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is mandatory.

A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
