About the Adult & Family Services Program
The Adult and Family Services (AFS) Therapy Program is ReDiscover's outpatient therapy department, offering clinicians the
opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families across the community. clients of all ages, backgrounds, and needs - including those who may have struggled to access care elsewhere. Answer phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and courteously directs the call to the appropriate personnel or program.
Abide by all HIPPA laws and maintains confidentiality for all clients and medical records.
Verify insurance, personal information and account balances. Accurately enter information into the EMR (i.e.: financial information, assessment forms, billing, etc.).
Availability to work a full-time schedule (#40hours a week), Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:30pm.
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience handling large volume of incoming calls as a receptionist preferred.
Must possess strong customer service skills.
Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
