Buyer Purchasing

Bowman offers an opportunity for a Buyer IV (Oil & Gas) to join our team in Houston.

Provide technical and commercial support related to procurement activities, including supplier qualification, performance management, and purchasing, ensuring that RPT partners with top performing suppliers and materials are purchased and delivered on time.

Evaluate and analyze purchasing trends and price trends to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs.

Support creation and estimation of Project AFE budgets, proposals, and schedules.

Prepare and communicate status reports for supplier qualifications, project deliverables, and other department initiatives.

Develop and lead supplier engagement activities, promoting supplier awareness of company brand, culture, services, competencies, experience, and forecasting.

Measure and oversee supplier performance.

Purchase materials at the most favorable terms for the company by preparing Supplier Qualifications, Bid Lists, Requests for Quotation, Bid Evaluations, Purchase Recommendations, and Purchase Orders.

Facilitate technical or commercial clarifications, negotiate terms, coordinate source inspection, and track purchases with suppliers.

On-time procurement of materials and services aligned with project schedules.

Favorable purchasing terms achieved through effective negotiation and supplier management.

Accurate and timely preparation of procurement documentation and purchase orders.

Strong supplier performance as evidenced by quality, delivery, and responsiveness.

Effective communication of procurement status, changes, and risks to stakeholders.

Compliance with procurement policies, standards, and documentation requirements.
