CNC Machinist I Fabrication 1st Shift

Job Title: Mill CNC Machinist
Shift: 1st Shift: 7am -3:30 pm
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $26.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss CNC machines to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong experience working with tight tolerances, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Is knowledgeable in CNC machining and secondary equipment
Assists Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost)
Follows "in-process" quality inspections and works with team members to ensure total quality
Aids in feedback to planning & engineering to optimize productivity
Ensure usage of correct gaging, hand measuring tools & metrology equipment to deliver the highest possible quality components for our customers
Support preventative maintenance of equipment and report machine issues to production supervisor
Minimum 2 years of lathe production experience on CNC & related production equipment
Experience setting up and operating CNC Lathe Machines preferred
Read and understand job layouts, blueprints, schematics and work from written and verbal job instructions on operations
This includes providing hourly production stats to shift supervisor & implementing quick corrective actions to help team members reach their goals
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to work on a busy manufacturing floor
