Hospital Perfusionist

As a Perfusionist, you will be a vital surgical team member, operating specialized cardiovascular equipment like heart-lung machines during complex procedures, ensuring patient physiological well-being.

Every day you will meticulously monitor and manage a patient's circulatory and respiratory functions, administering blood products/medications, and maintaining precise parameters. You will collaborate closely with the surgical team, making real-time adjustments for patient stability.

To be successful, you need exceptional technical proficiency, a deep understanding of cardiovascular physiology/pharmacology, and the ability to perform calmly under pressure. Use appropriate equipment/supplies and monitor data based on patient profile (age, condition, procedure)

Utilize all available safety devices during cardiopulmonary bypass as per departmental policy
