Sales Engineer
Object First, now an independent business unit of Veeam, builds secure, simple, and powerful backup storage for Veeam customers, engineered with Absolute Immutability to deliver true ransomware-proof protection. Our Zero Access architecture ensures no one can alter or delete backup data, providing cyber resilience by design.
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact by working with meaningful, high-performance technology? Object First is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our growing team! This technical role works closely with the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) team to support our partners, prospects, and customers.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be expected to enable partners to perform all key functions of the role, including running Proof of Concepts (PoCs) independently.
VMCA, VMware VCP, Commvault, NetApp) would be a significant advantage. A solid understanding of Data Resiliency and Zero Trust concepts would also be a strong asset.
Lead technical sales presentations, demos, and proof of concepts to customers and partners.
Build and maintain strong technical relationships with partners and customers in your territory.
Support sales teams in customer meetings and technical discussions.
Drive partner enablement through training and technical guidance.
Work closely with sales teams to develop technical solutions that meet customer needs.
Develop relationship with local Cybersecurity authorities and ecosystem.
Strong technical expertise in data protection, storage, networking, and virtualization, with hands-on experience using Veeam Backup & Replication.
Previous Sales Engineering experience in software, DevOps, or data protection.
Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
A strong track record of customer-facing technical presentations and product demos.
The ability to manage multiple customer engagements with quick and reliable follow-up.
Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings, partner engagements, and events.
