Remote CPA/Tax Preparer

Job Description Remote Tax AccountantAbout the Opportunity We are partnering with a growing CPA firm that is looking to add a Remote Tax Accountant to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working with a variety of clients while maintaining the flexibility of a remote work environment.

What You'll Do • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Prepare tax returns including:
Partnership (1065)
Assist with tax planning projects and year-end projections

• Research tax issues and communicate findings to clients and team members
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices
• Qualifications • 2+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• CPA, EA, CPA Candidate, or MST preferred but not required
• Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSystem fx, Drake, or similar platforms
