Audiologist (M) (Fulltime) Audiology

UNC Ear, Nose, & Throat in Goldsboro, NC, is excited to welcome a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to our growing clinic! This role offers a dynamic blend of diagnostic care, advanced technology, and opportunities to build your own patient panel. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities.

Incentive: The full-time position qualifies for a $10,000 commitment incentive with a 12-month work commitment.

Salary Range: $35.87 - $55.43 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.

In this position, you’ll provide standard audiology services, including audiograms and tympanograms, as well as ABRs for infants and children. Our clinic recently upgraded both our sound booth and audiology equipment, giving you access to modern tools that support high‑quality diagnostics. Alongside caring for ENT‑referred patients, you’ll also manage your own hearing‑aid patient caseload, including individuals served through the NC Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. To support your workflow, our dedicated Medical Office Assistant handles authorizations, benefit checks, and related administrative needs.

Completes Audiology documentation, billing, and statistics per department guidelines. Performs basic and complex diagnostic testing to assess auditory, vestibular, and related conditions. Analyzes and interprets results of diagnostic testing to establish patient goals and manage treatment programs. Counsels patients and families regarding hearing loss, implications, and rehabilitation options. For those with relevant expertise and in clinics offering applicable services:

Performs electrophysiologic testing (ABR, ASSR, intraoperative monitoring).

Performs newborn and pediatric hearing screenings, behavioral assessments (VRA, CPA), and age‑appropriate testing methods.

Administers comprehensive cochlear implant evaluations, programming, and management.

Administers middle ear implant evaluations, programming, and management.

Administers auditory brainstem implant (ABI) evaluations, programming, and management.

Provides regular feedback, coaching and mentoring. Evaluates the learner's performance.

Assists in the planning and coordinating of clinical programs in collaboration with the clinical specialist, supervisor, or manager. Graduation from an accredited Audiology program.

Licensed as an Audiologist by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech‑Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

Audiologist I: Audiologist experience preferred.

Audiologist II: Must have five years of experience as an audiologist.

Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. Strong keyboard/computer/Audiology diagnostic and hearing aid software and equipment experience. Must deal with customers in a caring and respectful manner.
