CNC MACHINIST - 2nd SHIFT
KTC offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical and dental options and benefit waiver payments if benefits aren’t needed, a vacation “bonus” when on vacation, in addition to providing uniforms, safety shoes and prescription safety glasses if needed.
The CNC Machinist will report directly to the Machine Shop Manager. This position will be an integral part of our growing, state-of-the art, machine shop, with 5 new machines in the last 3 years and another scheduled to be installed later this year. Set up, load and operate various 5 axis machines in cellular configuration
Programmers are responsible for main programing, machinists monitor and modify programs as needed.
Perform limited work with CNC vertical and horizontal boring mills
Participate in lean, continuous improvement and six sigma work teams
Be familiar with safety policies and procedures
Trade school or higher level education preferred
