RN, OB/L&D - Nights

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various areas of obstetrics, including labor, preterm labor, and high-risk deliveries. The RN will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care in a busy environment with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities:

Administering blood and blood products, and managing anticoagulation therapy.
Circulating for C-sections and assisting with high-risk deliveries.
Maintaining patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
Utilizing advanced monitoring techniques and equipment such as epidural pumps and PCA pumps.
Educating patients and families regarding care and procedural expectations.
Documenting patient data in the Epic charting system.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Active compact RN license required at the time of submission.
Certifications in BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate are required; ACLS preferred.
Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
