Job Description Job Summary:

The Front Desk Cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly customer service while accurately handling transactions. This role includes operating the register, maintaining a clean and organized front area, and assisting with basic store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide courteous service

Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately

Handle lottery, tobacco, and age-restricted sales in compliance with laws

Maintain an organized and clean checkout area

Restock shelves, coolers, and front counter items as needed

Monitor fuel pump activity and authorize transactions

Answer basic customer questions about products and services

Balance register and report discrepancies at end of shift

Follow all safety, security procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus

Basic math and computer skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Work Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods

Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be reliable and punctual

Preferred Skills:

Experience with POS systems

Ability to handle high-volume transactions efficiently

Trustworthy and detail-oriented
