Must-Have:
1 year of Telemetry experience, inpatient only.
Experience and competence in drug titration.
Description:
This position involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Monitoring and coordinating patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort is essential.
Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will deliver care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
Maintaining professional accountability for patient care provision is required.
The RN will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
The role involves coordinating patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information is critical.
The position requires standing and walking for most of the duty period.
The RN may need to bend, stoop, lift, and turn patients with assistance.
Working differing schedules and shifts as per patient care requirements is expected.
There is high-risk exposure to blood and body fluids in this role.
Physical demands could include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, and pinching up to 15 lbs.
Minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling may also be required.
