PERIOPERATIVE REGISTERED NURSE - FULL TIME POSITION
Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA)
This role involves providing perioperative support in a busy operating room environment.
Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms by ensuring the availability and functionality of surgical instruments, supplies, implants, medications, and equipment.
Assist with room setup and maintaining sterile fields according to infection control standards.
Operates as a scrub and/or circulator during surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing school, current RN licensure, and prior operating room experience.
Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control practices, and teamwork skills are essential.
This full-time position involves working mid-shift hours, with some call and weekend responsibilities, within a facility that features 17 OR rooms and a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
