Shipper - Distribution (Day shift/ Full-Time)

Distribution Order Picker

Location: Wood Dale, IL Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Starting Pay: $18.60 per hour

As a Distribution Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, organized, and prepared for distribution. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to meet productivity goals will help keep warehouse operations running efficiently while supporting timely delivery of products.

Accurately pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse.

Transport materials and products from picking areas to designated warehouse locations.

Sort and place materials on pallets according to product specifications, including size, type, style, color, or product code.

Utilize RF scanning technology and/or voice-picking equipment to support order fulfillment activities.

Mark and label materials with appropriate identifying information.

Follow safe lifting, carrying, and material-handling procedures.

Inspect equipment and report any defective or unsafe conditions.

Immediately report workplace injuries, accidents, or property damage.

Cross-functional partners supporting warehouse operations

High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity goals.

Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards.

Ability to utilize warehouse technology, including RF scanners and voice-picking systems.

Previous warehouse, distribution, order picking, or logistics experience.

Experience using RF scanners, voice-picking technology, or warehouse management systems.

Certification or prior experience operating a riding pallet jack or similar warehouse equipment.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and reach throughout the workday as needed.

Ability to use hands for handling, grasping, and operating equipment.

Warehouse environment with a moderate noise level.

Work schedule and start times may vary based on staffing needs, production requirements, and holiday schedules.

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $18.60 per hour.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
