Head of Project Management

ABOUT THE JOB - PROJECT MANAGER - NUCLEAR Location: Houston, Westplain Campus

Job Summary Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, as the Project Manager, you will be the owner of the overall project delivery function and be responsible for the outcome of the project execution.

The incumbent will work to successfully deliver CELEROS projects in a manner that fulfils contractual and technical requirements, meets or exceeds customer expectations, and adheres to safety and ethical standards, while achieving CELEROS target margins and promoting CELEROS’ reputation in the marketplace.

Duties and Responsibilities Leads and delivers projects that are >$100K, have technical/specification/operational risks.

Play a critical part in the full project lifecycle -- from participation in tendering activity, including proposals, through to project closure/cash collection.

Manage project complexity involving numerous internal and external stakeholders, a degree of technical complexity, occasional multi-site coordination, global and virtual team working, and high levels of functional integration.

Ownership of each assigned project, responsible for resolving project problems promptly, and maintaining project quality and adherence to schedule and budget.

For each project, key responsibilities include managing project handover and risk management, customer relations, contract management, setting the overall schedule, executing the project, managing costs, managing internal business partners, reviewing and reporting progress, variation order management, assuring OTD, collecting cash, project closeout, and LD negotiations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lead a large-scale project team.

Ability to report to the executive management team with relevant presentations and project updates.

Ability to manage projects through influence diplomatically. Customer-facing experience as well.

Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage a larger volume of projects/orders simultaneously.

Proven experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).

Proficient in MS Office, MS Project & SharePoint.

Experience working with an international customer base.

Education and Experience 5 years' experience in the nuclear sector.

Experience in the Industrial or Power & Energy markets.

Experience working in a nuclear Quality Program and familiarity with nuclear material supply codes and standards, such as ASME NQA-1, ASME Sec. Experience in dealing with complex customer specifications and documentation requirements.
