Bartender-Full-Service Restaurant (Full-time)

Diner, the pioneering farm-to-table restaurant in Brooklyn, is seeking a full-time Bartender, We are a small team that works together to provide warm, thoughtful service to our guests and community and are hiring for a full-time position (4 shifts/week) that requires nighttime and weekend availability.

Bartenders are the heart of the guest experience and must be able to serve a full bar of dining guests in addition to preparing cocktails for the rest of the dining room.
Greet guests, guide them through the menu, i nput food and beverage orders into Square, provide timely service, and present an accurate guest check at the end of the meal
Manage the steps of service efficiently, while providing thoughtful hospitality.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings, ingredients, allergens, and menu details to tailor dining experiences, address special needs or occasions, and drive revenue
Contribute to a positive kitchen-dining room relationship
Have 2+ years of hospitality beverage experience and a desire to deepen one’s knowledge of hospitality on every level
When applicable and lawful, we deduct the tip credit of $5.65 / hour from the NY State minimum wage of $17.00 / hour.
While performing the duties of the job, a Bartender regularly required to stand and walk;
